We don’t seem to repair things anymore these days. Something is worn or broken and it causes a cascade of poor & expensive replacements. For example: · wood rot or wear and tear on staircases & banisters · metric replacements that won’t fit e.g. locks, door & furniture fittings · machines, stoves and Agas where there is no replacement part and which are difficult to move for repair purposes · wooden conservatories, rotten at the base, but where most of the upper construction is still good Fix and Repair looks at these types of problems and considers a cost effective solution: · bespoke brackets can be made to effect an unobtrusive repair for stairs & banisters · original fittings can be repaired · replacement parts can be made and fitted / welded in to fix heavy stoves and machinery in situ · the rotten wood of a conservatory can be removed and replaced with brickwork In these straitened times, can you afford not to consider a repair first?
