We offer a wide rang of services across Essex ranging from: Evening & weekend dog walking, home visits., home boarding, elderly, post-Op & Ill pet special services, small rodent and dogs stay at my home service and private tuition. As a first time customer you will also receive a 25% discount off your first service. Myself and all staff are highly experienced so you can rest assure you pet(s) are looked after to the highest possible standard.

Animal Workshops is an in-school provider offering interactive animal encounters together with organised activity workshops linked to the National Curriculum. A wide selection of exotic and domestic animals includes everything from snakes to skunks, bugs to bunnies! We also provide entertaining children's parties. The 2 hour party package includes hands-on animal encounters, animal-themed games with prizes, personalised invitations and a gift for the host child. Many of the animals are also available for media and studio work under the supervision of a handler.

Situated in North Essex adjacent to the River Blackwater is the 12 acre smallholding home to the Blackwater Alpaca herd. We have 35 alpacas of various colours and both types huacaya and suri. All our alpacas are British Alpaca Society registered. They are all friendly and will eat from hand, many are halter trained. We have a stud service available. We offer alpaca adoption and also husbandry services to those people wanting an experienced alpaca breeder to carry out vaccinations and husbandry. We have several animals for sale including whole males suitable for stud, neutered pet males, maiden females, pregnant females, females with cria (baby) at foot and non breeding females suitable as companion animals or for use when weaning cria. Hopefield cares for a variety of animals including horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, cats and more recently has become home to smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas. As a small charity Hopefield relies upon donations and support from volunteers to be able to continue this work. It is with thanks to the continued support of volunteers and supporters that we have been able to achieve our aims thus far.
