.Photographic Restoration UK was the brain child of one (young) man many years ago who had a love for all things artistic. One of his main hobbies was to take photographs of older damaged photographs. He discovered that by using various types of gelatine he could mask things like over exposure and damage spots. This basic procedure is still used today but has obviously changed from gelatine to highly developed software and equipment.
