The A-Theme provides professional piano, keyboard, theory and composition lessons across Ryedale, including Malton, Pickering, York, Driffield and Scarborough. I’m Alan Moore and I have 30 years experience of teaching the piano and classroom music in North Yorkshire (primary school through to secondary school, including GCSE and ‘A’ Level examinations). I have also successfully entered students for their ''Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music'' piano examinations. I provide bespoke, friendly, piano and keyboard lessons to beginners and intermediate students aged 5 to adult. I tailor my music lessons to the student’s needs. As an experienced classroom teacher, I can also help students with music theory or composition studies, especially those embarking on examination courses. I also teach adults, whether they are beginners on the piano/keyboard or more advanced players who wish to take their studies to the next level. I am also a film and media composer and have scored the soundtracks to several films and many diverse media projects. For convenience, I travel to students’ homes to teach (by arrangement).
