Sharon Hansford set up a multibed clinic in Rugby April 2009 after the success of the Leamington clinic with colleagues. Community Acupuncture Clinics make acupuncture a more affordable option for all, Sharon is committed to making it a cost effective treatment for anyone who wishes to try the holistic approach to health. Couches are separated by privacy screens and blankets are used to protect patient''s modesty. Clients still can expect the same high quality standards of care as that received in private practice. For those who wish to still have a private treatment this is still an option in Rugby but appointments need to be booked in advance. Sharon completed her three year training at the College of Traditional Acupuncture and obtained a First Class B A (Hons) and Licentiate in Acupuncture. She is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council and The Association of Community and Multibed Clinics. She regularly completes Continuing Professional Development. Her main areas of interest are fertility problems, care through pregnancy and mental health issues like depression and anxiety. However, Sharon finds treating most patients rewarding no matter what their symptoms. Sometimes people attend acupuncture just for general well being. Sharon offers Traditional Body Acupuncture, Acupressure, Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha Massage, Korean Hand Therapy and Magnet Therapy. For those with a needle phobias some of these treatments do not even involve a needle.
