(How do we measure up?) Being customers ourselves for many years we have grown increasingly aware of the escalating costs that people are having to pay for poor standards of workmanship and service. Coming as we do from a mechanical, engineering, pattern making and carpentry background and having worked for the council doing domestic building and alterations we realised that we had the necessary skills and experience to set up the foremost partnership and offer a wide range of quality services at a reasonable price. We also know from personal experience that it is often more diffucult to find people willing to do the small jobs, that if left unattended, can turn into a much larger problem, and that is why we treat a request to fix a dripping tap or leaking guttering with the same level of commitment as we do to a request to fit a new luxury bathroom. OUR POILICY & PROMISE... Unlike many other tradesmen that advertise as such, when we say "No job is too small" we really do mean it! We also understand that while we are carrying out any kind of work at your property we are also your guests and will treat both you and your home with the respect you deserve. We also try to keep the inconvenience to our customers to an absolute minimum by usually having two workers on site which also means the job is completed as quickly as possible. It also goes without saying that as a reputable business we have full public liability insurance and are also fully qualified and insured to work at heights. One thing that has become apparent to us recently is the amount of confusion regarding the digital changeover that is occurring at the moment. It is our belief that there are people that are now taking advantage of this situation and carrying out so called “digital upgrades “at ever increasing cost to the customer and carrying out work that is not actually required. As with all the services we provide we are more than happy to visit your home and discuss your individual requirements and carry out a survey of your existing equipment and offer you a detailed explanation of what is needed and present you with a free, no obligation, quotation. INTEGRITY... It is also our belief that there are an increasing number of “rogue traders” operating in just about every aspect of home maintenance and improvement and that many people, especially the more vulnerable, have been, and continue to be, conned into spending large sums of money unnecessarily. Be assured we will only provide you with a quotation for work that is required or requested and that we will never pressurise you for a decision on the spot or offer you a discount if you agree to have the work carried out immediately. You will be given time to obtain other quotes for comparison and discuss the matter fully with family or friends before making a decision. Please be aware that anyone not extending you this courtesy is probably not acting in your best interests! We are also conscious of the fact that some people, such as the elderly or females that live alone are especially nervous about dealing with tradesmen and more importantly are apprehensive about allowing strangers into their homes. For this reason, if you cannot find a family member or friend to be there when we call we at foremost will be more than happy to have one of our wives accompany us if it will help put you at ease.
