I am a professionally trained, experienced psychodynamic counsellor in east London, based in Dagenham, Essex. I provide counselling in east London, and cover the London boroughs of Newham, Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Hackney and other areas in Essex. My experience of mental health has meant working with a wide range of clients, some from local psychiatric services and reaching clinical outcomes. Many of the clients I have worked with have been diagnosed as anxious and / or depressed. Clients have reported feeling significantly better after 12 weeks of counselling, which has also been demonstrated in evaluations. Demonstrable outcomes may also include clients no longer requiring psychiatric medications or treatment by medical services, client’s no longer being at risk of harm to themselves or others, improved social and professional functioning. I always seek client’s beneficence and respect client’s autonomy, maintaining trust, confidentiality and boundaries at all times. I work hard to understand the concerns that clients bring and I am aware of my responsibilities; I work with personal and professional integrity. I am motivated and driven particularly in relation to mental health. I am passionate about it and plan to dedicate my working life to helping others to help themselves.

In Introduction to Counselling using Art Working with relationship issues (individual & couples), Bereavement and grief, sexuality and sex related issues, eating disorders, self-esteem and confidence related issues, stress, anxiety and depression, work related issues, anger issues, verbal, emotional & physical and sexual abuse, personal development and general counselling. Fees £20.00 - initial consultation (30-50 minutes). £45.00 per session - individual (50-60 minutes). £55.00 per session - couples (50-60 minutes). Payment is made on the day of the consultation in cash or by cheque.
