Many people these days are unaffiliated to a religious tradition, and would like a much more personal and unique ceremony that really celebrates the individuality of their loved one that has died. Funerals can take place not just in churches or crematoria, but outside, in village halls or at Woodland Burial sites. You can even have a ceremony in your own home. I am a Green Fuse trained Independent celebrant and have many years experience creating beautiful and heartfelt ceremonies together with families, to help you make one of the most difficult goodbyes a special day. The service may be non - religious or, more common these days, semi - religious or spiritual with words and rituals that reflect the beliefs and values of your loved one that has died. I will work with you in your own home, with as much time as you need, and create a completely bespoke ceremony that will include readings, poems and music of your choice. I will support you in any ways that family and friends may wish to take part, and can help write a personal Eulogy, leading the ceremony on the day in a way that is appropriate to your wishes..
