Whether you believe in the physical healing properties or not, the therapy itself will offer you a chance to lie back, relax and get in touch with your body''s energy; so you can leave feeling less stressed, more refreshed and restored. Reiki for animals and pets Reiki animal healing is an alternative therapy that is used for all animals. Reiki animal healing does not involve the use of any drugs, just a gentle, physical or non-physical contact with the animal. It is recommended for treating pain and a variety of health issues; it also helps with anxiety and behaviour challenges.All animals love Reiki and therefor it works well for them. The therapy can be calming and helps an agitated animal become a more relaxed and happier. It helps them to get over trauma and is knowen to improve chronic ailments. Reiki works with all animals and I have found great results with treating Horses, dog and cats that has been abused and mistreated and helping them deal with the trauma, making them more relaxed and a lot more happier and less fearful.
